Kentucky Fried Chicken And The Enlightened Wealth Institute
The principle my enlightened wealth institute mentors have most emphasized is to put people first. There is no need to cheat people or skrimp on quality of service. They’ve taught me to do what I like to do and do it the best I know how. Then the success will definitely follow. I recently watched a taped interview with the late Colonel Harlan Sanders, the man that brought the world Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was asked about what makes a successful business I heard him say the same things my ewi business mentors teach. I was touched and inspired again. Harlan Sanders had an extremely hard childhood and had lived a tough life working at countless jobs. Then at age sixty five he decided to start doing what he did best and doing it with all of his heart. The rest is “finger lickin’ good” history.
World Wide Fame
Colonel Sanders believed so passionately in what he had to offer that he went from a gasoline station owner/operator to opening his first restaurant. Why did he do this? Because he looked around and asked himself what it was that people really needed that he could provide. This is the very best way to start a business that can take us where our dreams live. While he didn’t care just about the money he became a multi-millionaire and many of his franchisees did too. All this because he would not budge when it came to the recipe for success. Yes, his recipe had to do with the eleven secret herbs and spices but I have learned the recipe of success for my wealth building career from the enlightened wealth institute. The main thing is find what works and keep on doing it. This is how The Colonel went from local success to world wide fame.
Never Give Up
Colonel Sanders said that most people give up by the time they are sixty five years old but that is when they should be getting fired up. Even though he had sold his business long before, The Colonel stayed active in his business by personally visiting the franchises all over the world until he died at ninety years old. We should learn a lesson from this good man for our businesses today. Never give up is also taught by the enlightened wealth institute course. What will it take for me to become stoppable . . age? a slow business start-up? challenges? I have been guilty, like so many entrepreneurs, of wanting everything to go from start-up to millions in a very short period of time.
Believe In Magic
There is a certain magic that happens when we truly believe with all our heart, that we have something great to offer the world. Work becomes play and we love doing it; marketing becomes a fun, creative game which, then, leads to sales. So many of us get the cart before the horse. We want to make lots of money and then try to figure out what we can do to accomplish this.I learned in the enlightened wealth institute that finding out what people need in whatever niche we decide to enter is the best first step toward realizing our financial dreams. The Colonel believed beyond a doubt that he had the secret magic of fried chicken. He was even known to close down restaurants, including his own, that tried to cut corners and compromise quality in the cooking process. Do we believe in ourselves that much? If so, we can see magic happen for ourselves and our customers.
Tell Everyone
Just because we have a great product doesn’t mean the world is going to come beating down our door to buy it. Imagine the mouth watering taste of Kentucky fried chicken, mmmmm. I’m not a fried food lover but I tell you the appeal of the crispiness outside and the tender juiciness inside of a piece of fried chicken makes me want to get a bucket right now. However, that is not what made the unbelievable success happen for Colonel Sanders. He put wheels to his dream of everyone enjoying his yummy recipe. He actually got in his car and traveled the country to share his delicious product with prospective partners. That was before the days of the Internet that we enjoy now. We must put wheels to our dreams by traveling Cyberspace to share with the audience we desire.
What Works
For me what has worked is my passion, my zealousness, my determination. Along with that is the thorough training I’ve received from the enlightened wealth institute course and mentors. I follow the recipe to the “T” every single day. I know that what I serve up to my customers will bring me back untold pleasure both financially and emotionally. It’s been proven thoughout time. Believe in yourself. Find what works . . and do it.
