Get a home for $1.75 on eBay? This women did!

Jeepers!  I had to rub my eyes twice when looking at this yahoo news item a fellow real estate investor sent me!  Indeed, according to the Associated Press article, a women won the abandoned home for only a mere $1.75!  Out of eight bidders and she was the lucky one to steal a home for less than two bucks!

Well, according to the news article there is $850 back taxes owed and the yard needs some clean up - but shoot - she can simply do that, take some slick photos and add some nice ad copy to her marketing message and there is no doubt she will walk away with THOUSANDS! 

There was a foreclosure notice on the property so she would also have to make sure there are no other liens other than the $850 tax bill.
